Cant really say why the new clutch us showing this up.
It may be due to the loss of the Dual Mass Mech on the oem Fly.
You can now feel more that is going on!

The cars need respect - unfortunately having had the personal experience of 5 b5 6 sped boxes I know this . its up to you how you drive. enjoy and have backup.

Is that FIVE?!?!?!?!? 6 speed boxes?!?! wow, that’s a lot ... where they in RS4's? I have heard of boxes going in them, but I think I have been lucky, due to my car being a tad lighter than the RS4...

Looks like I need to get a backup, for the inevitable!

What is "the latest p no's" ???
Cheers

2 different cars 3 faults over 1999 - 2007.
Easy.... I have learned to drive with a silk touch. Last clutch I took out of my car was set to its new position! You can feel the synchros and engagement points I try and keep to those rather than force the box, no big deal....

I can vouch for the clutch being set to its new position.

Gordon, Ive since been pondering the idea of a single mass, but cant make my mind up. I like the idea of the car accellerating quicker on the single mass regardless of the power. But then I like the feel of the dual better. Feels more solid. Decisions decisions.
