I've got Black HiSpec 4-pots on mine and it looks fine....the other colours they do are gold ( ) blue or red......go for the black. The calipers are anodised rather than painted so they last pretty well....

You'll be impressed with the kit....I've got Ferodo DS2500 pads which are OK but I will probable replace them with Pagid next time ....

The Pagid pads are quite a bit extra .... The DS2500 are very good I would just like to try the Pagids next time.

Are you going for the 6-pots ?

They didn't have any when I needed mine so I went for the 4-Pot Billet Monsters instead. It is top quality kit but HiSpec themselves are a old fashioned engineering company. You just have to keep onto them.

I've got 335 x 32 floating rotors which are grooved.

Morning gents,

What wheel sizes are required for these ?

i.e. 335 and 355 discs combined with 4 and 6 pot calipers.

I've got 335 with 4-pots under the standard 17" wheels. You can also get the 6-pots under the same wheel.

355 is the sized used for 18" + with 4-pots/6-pots.

This is relevant for the HiSpec stuff obviously....I don't know about other kits.

HiSpec tell me that they have a 8-Pot caliper under development

Just remember to run the pads in properly.....and stand by to be pinned to the windscreen when applying your new brakes

Thanks Jeff, I meant for the Hi-Spec. Would you have preferred the 6 pot ones ?

Tweaky, what width are the 19's 8, 8.5, 9 ?

Tweaky

The dust isn't too bad (unless you do a track day !). I'd try the DS2500 first and see how you go, Pagids have a slight reputation for eating discs....

David

I would have had the 6-Pots ('cos they must be better with more pots ). The long term aim is to move the 4-Pots onto the back and replace them with 8-Pots when they are available
