There is no difference in performance but the silver zinc enables us to offer outstanding hose kits that meet the exacting standards of manufacturers such as Jaguar and Aston Martin at consumer-friendly prices. Our brake hose kits come with silver zinc fittings and every single hose is tested before it leaves the factory.

I have used Goodridge hoses on previous cars and always found an improvement in pedal feel, I have also used them on a couple of DH MTBs which have Hope brakes fitted

Glad you've had good experiences with Goodridge previously. We'll run the offer through next week then announce the lucky recipients. Our kits contain silver zinc carbon fittings (on PTFE and stainless steel hose).

Thanks for the info on the fittings.

The joints on the OEM hoses corrode and end up in a right state, so I had mine changed for the Goodridge hoses and uprated fluid. I found the pedal feel was better as a result.

I've not checked the condition of the fixings since, but I would imagine (and hope) that they hold up better than the OEM ones.
