New tyres all round on my S4 B8!!

Post by saintS400 » Fri May 31, 2013 10:37 pm

All 4 tyres on my S4 needed changing, 96% worn on average. Don't know how that happened so quickly!!

I decided to change from the Dunlop Sportmaxx that came with the car. The Michelin Pilot Supersport was recommended to me as a good tyre for the car. I looked on line at reviews, which all seemed positive & decided to go for them.

I had them fitted today & looking forward to seeing how they feel over the weekend.

Has anyone else got these tyres, what do you think?
Has anyone tried anything else on thier S4?
S4 B8 MRC stage 2 map, MRC custom supercharger pulley & high grip belt, MRC high flow air filter & silicone intake pipe, MRC cooling upgrade, Bilstein PSS9's, RS5 Brake upgrade, H&R ARB's, MRC gearbox re map, Supersprint cat back exhaust, Michelin Pilot Supersport tyres. 500.7ps 596nm. Now sold sadly.

Most of the RS4 run these or Goodyears it would seem. They all rave about them. In stuck with conti's on third new car in a row. So bloody noisy.

Awesome tyres!
Bought mine about a month ago - the best tyres I've ever had. Keep in mind they have lubricant on them, and need 300-400miles to wear off in order to experience their maximum performance.
