Have AMD been working on customer relations?

Post by lellaS4 » Thu Nov 20, 2003 8:57 pm

I just want to comment positivly on the way AMD have seemed to improve their attention to us customers.

And - If AMD make sure that the comunication with the technicians is open and clear they will be onto a massive winning formula.

With the Audi main dealers it is IMHO a complete frustration and a time wasting experience.
The whole Audi dealer experience is to fob off the customer first and only deal with problems when really forced.

Need I say more.

Well yes. You could start by eloborating with an example or examples of great customer service so that we could appreciate what you are saying.

Well they are not perfect all the time. I emailed them on the 28/10 about some 'issues' I was having with my new suspension they had fitted and they didnt reply. So I emailed them again on 03/11 asking why they hadn't replied...and they still haven't replied...

I have been busy in and out of the country with work recently so didn't have time to call, hence the emails instead.

service and response has always been good to me, but then i deal direct with Scott. Reception room improved alot. even has internet access now. They are also applying for appropriate licences so they can legally play dvd's on the plasma screen.

All I'm bothered is whether they play Rugby on their plasma screen tomorrow, which I presume they will naturally. Oh and also if Revo are underperforming on the RR.

Actually had it on a huge prejector on the wall of the workshop - quite an atmosphere I thought.

That was a great touch - didn't expect that kind of effort to be honest
