It will be very interesting to see whether the readings have changed from previously. What were your ouput reading if you don't mind me asking?

According to AMD, my car, with AMD remap was putting out 265.9 bhp at 5664 rpm and 297.4 lb torque at 3234 rpm. Max Ambient temp was 58 degrees C

BTW, anyone got rough figures for a REVO'd S4 VS an AMD's S4 - all other things being equal..

A
I'm not sure that a Revo'd S4 has been on the rollers yet.

265.9bhp? I thought that's what they were as standard? or is the 265 at the flywheel & it's now at the wheels?

Jim @ star performance is offering ApR trials now (and I have absolutely no idea what happends when it reverts back to stock, but they tell me it IS stock)

They have recently revised the APR UK programs for the S3/S4 and are providing good power figures. I have the APR software because star performance is close to home, it has ECMS switching from the cruise with a security lockout allowing OEM map (irrelevent) but also a specific 95 ron map as well as 98/optimax) Drives very well, good price (except if you compare to Jabba) and free updates from APR as and when they have been made.

Saying that, the last car was AmD and that was fab too

MushroomMan, if you are coming to the AmD day, I'l sure you'll find a drive in a Revo / AmD and perhaps APR car, the best and only way to assess performance and driveability.

Agreed it's the best way to compare. Unfortunately I'm abroad on that date but would be interested in attending a meet sometime.

I think so but you'll have to check. He assumed mine had a 'C' box prior to the chip and said it should be fine, but it turned out the car has a 'd' box. Give him a call though.

London, the Midlands and Hertfordshire. And no I'm not a serial bigamist before anyone suggests. I'll have to check my dates.
