Fk SilverX or KW V1 Coilovers?
I have kw v3s on my b5 rs4,they came fitted when i bought it.I phoned the guy i bought it off last week to see how you adjust them as i was just gonna mess about with them as i was bored. After phone call i decided not to bother as it was such a ball ache.My point is unless you are going on track fairly regular whats the point, the shocks are set up from the factory for the best compromise for the relevant application.Coilovers for height adjustment yes,but the rest of it ? when was the last time anybody adjusted there damper settings.
It's time to fire up the Quattro! Avus Silver rules ! 426.786548054154 bhp
you reckon? I doubt that.ash318 wrote:the shocks are set up from the factory for the best compromise for the relevant application.
as soon as you change the hight of the car, you need to alter the damping. you should set the height of the car, then let the springs settle, then set the height again and then set the damping for how you want it.
anyone who tracks their car is going to find damping adjustment useful.

Not mine. Just thought it was interesting how Koni/FK/KW V2 are all the samething after some of the input about some of the brands. Only difference is the box and the price tag. I'll try to make the meet if i can, had my arm twisted into detailing a car for someone so not sure how long it will take.jimbo1234567 wrote:a nice shiney box of goodies there lee. are you coming to the meet next monday?![]()
