Nitrous - Interested to hear about setups on RS & S Audi

Post by rs-mad » Wed Apr 09, 2008 12:21 pm

Hi

Looking into running some nitrous on the '6 and wanted to hear about peoples experience on running them on Audi's mainly S4/6/8 and RS4/6's.

The setup I am thinking about is:

75HP Wet Shot
3000-6000 rpm range
25% initial ramping up to 100%

Interested in other's input if based on experience.

I was trying to find that RS6 with NOS, the one that caught fire... can't seem to find the links/pics now.

That one went on fire due to a badly fitted fuel pipe after a engine change .....

I've used and fitted lots of kits .
NO2 does not cause fires but when the fuel pipes leaks fuel on the engine it will ... The original post mentioned a picture of a RS6 at the ring on fire !!! That was the reason for the post.

Nos is very safe and helped the intake temps no end . If i was you i would use a "WIZZARD OF NOS " kit . Fit 2 venom injectors , one on either side of the throttle body in the intercooler to tb pipe.

What kind of power curve are you getting??? At what rpm does it push it in? does it make up for any lag???

Don't suppose you can scan in the dyno graph? would love to see the power band curve on this?
