Those guys have obviously got THE best sense of humour to be able to send up their own tragic predicaments like that - they have my total respect and admiration.

A 3 inch set of downpipes with no cats and a dul box is probably the best option.

I heard FlashyG's exhaust which has this exact setup and it has a perfect noise configuration. Not quiet, not loud. just right. And when you open up the throttle it screams. Round town, its perfect. I didnt hear any drone.

leons and mine are dual 3" downpipes with no cats, and 2.75" dual and only one back box.

It is too loud for everyday use. MIne was 99dB warm and 100dB at castle combe at 4500 rpm. At Donnington on a driveby test it was 105dB but was revving to 7800 at the time!

The dual box system is better to take the edge off.

rich will definitely get more from his car if ihe ditches the 3" single. Even the decatted downpipes with an rs4 dual will be better.

I've just ordered a little noise monitor to see what mine is like ... how far away do you hold it when holding 4500 rpm??

Just wish exhausts where cheaper than they are!!!!
