rs6 calipers on b5 rs4

will pads from VW pheton be ok they look the same .
only reason i ask is a mate has a set in his garage and it will save me going to buy some .

I think they are pagid black 422's that come stock with the RS6 callipers ... so, if you check the code on them??

But then if they are a different make, model, they may fit as well ...!

I've recently put RS4 8-pot calipers on my A8, with RS6 drilled disks. What an improvement over standard. Well worth the cost

The Pheaton pads are slightly different. They sit about 4/5mm futher out when fitted in the RS6 caliper. To make them fit you have to grind down the metal part. Not somthing I would put be happy with.
