Obvioulsy I'm gutted; means when I trade in my S3 against a Rover I wont be able to get MTM mapped. I can always get counselling for that.

Well if your K03's went pop due to a chip thats supposed to peak at 1.2 bar (or 1.25 as most peoples were in some cases), then maybe its a fault of the chip. If it can be proved that it was faulty (as it shouldnt have been producing over 1.25 bar) CERTAINLY NOT 1.4 BAR, then maybe you should get a part refund for the chip or for the destruction of your k03's.

I think thats fair.

But as you bought our car off a dealer if i can remember correctly, I guesswe all know where we stand when it comes to dealers that sell us cars chipped.

i used DNA tuning on my S4..not everyones cup of tea but worked well for me..
if i,d have done some research then i mite well have gone the mrc route..i think its good that there is a choice of tuners and good that people share there experiences on who they used..i think it would be a boring day at santa pod if we all used the same tuner..all cars running the same times..be like watching a touring car race..

Wow. This thread is still going! The answer is simple Phil, people get quite emotional about mapping because it exercises the "mine is bigger than yours" part of the ego.
