KO4 Max Boost??

Well!! Having no precats do change things....The peak boost is earlier than before 1.7+ bar at 3400 revs and drop straight away slowly. At 5500 revs it is 1.4 bar.

So yes it goes to 1.7+ bar but not all the way of course.

Some people say it is a lot , some people say it is ok. I know some car running that sort of boost and their are fine and never heard of a blow up turbos....????????

I think mine is 1.45 bar peak around that rpm then tapers of to 1.25 ish bar towards the redline.

I have seen mine on the odd occasion (I have a digital boost gauge) head toward 1.5x ish on the initial overboost, never seen 1.6 tho ...

So, what BHP and Torque where you pulling then????

Graph: did expect 440 bhp to be honest but pretty happy with the performance on the road....Plenty of torque as well. More is possible but it is good enough for me

Did you get the at the wheels figures too? Never had likely flywheel figures on either of the cars I've had on dyno dynamics dynos.

Shows a worthwhile difference in the pre-cats though. The lower plot is boost isn't it?

yeh, the peak boost come much earlier. I really do like the torque curve.....

Would be curious to compare with another one with remap+milltek sport cats ( around 440/450bhp ) anybody??

have you logged your car with vag-com. I'd like to see your maf values. Mine hit the limit of 364.08 at around 5200-5500 rpms at about 1.6-1.5bar. log block 003 so you get timing as well

could you also do a third gear 3500-7000rpm block 003 WOT run so we can calculate your FATS time too?

That 430 sounds a bit low IMO for 1.4bar high rpms?

430 sound a little bit low, it is true but it is plenty on the road!! Will i notice the difference if i had 10 bhp more.....i don't think so. Would be interested to have some opinions from other RS owners.

The torque is the daddy tho ... thats what gives the kick, and u seem to have a LOT of it!

My old S4 engine with KO4 treatment had 363 hp, but, 414ftlb of torque, which did the job!

Have you done ur FATS yet? That will show how it compairs ...
