Boost Gauge - DIS unit...

Post by ZeroK66 » Tue Apr 11, 2006 10:56 am

Looking at two options - the one that displays on the DIS and the vent gauge... see here:

http://www.techreactions.com/efu.htm
http://www.vag-tuner.com/product.php?pr ... 549&page=1

The DIS unit is pricey - but with all the other features (Speed trap detector??) - it may well be worth considering.

What are your thoughts?

Cheers,
Leon

I made my own vent gauge for the price of the gauge itself and a few hours of a Saturday afternoon :)

Sorry about the crappy pics, I had the camera on the wrong setting.

It's a vdo gauge and I painted the bulb red with glass paint for a pretty good match!

Mines mouted in a carbon look surround in the footwell. Its just too the left of your leg on the bottom of the shelf.. Perfect view through the steering wheel but not obvious or in your face. 30mins to fit including running the pipework and backlight. Gauge holder thingy was something like £6.00 of ebay and £25- for the autometer boost gauge. Works a treat.
