RS7 gone RS3 arrived

Hmmm, RS7 deffo best car I have ever owned but couple things encouraged my decision.
1. MPG crazy, lucky to get 19
2. Huge car, wife really struggled
3. Turbo failures. Oil going to the turbos passes through an filter that clogs and fries the turbos
4. Continual misfires due to oil ring sticking
The last 2 are huge money pits
Other than that, quiet, comfy, fast, great handling for size, great looks, awesome sound with milltek, and massive tuning potential.
Done 250 miles with the RS3. Road noise is a joke, handling is great but suspension is hard as horn, MPG is fantastic. Exhaust sounds crap due to GPF. On the plus side ecu is same as the old car.
Looking forward to improving a very good base car
Noise, bin P Zeros and sound proofing
Rock hard, Bilstien coilovers
Exhaust, bin cats and GPF
Power, well not hard to work out.

will be interested to see how long this one lasts
as for the road noise not a RS3 but the wife's S3 seems fine with MPS4s
but never had a chance to compare as i changed the tyres soon as we bout it for winters on the 18"
and gt a set of BBS 19 and fitted them with the MPS4s tyres
look forward to the modding

Will be changing to MPS4s. Had them on my M5. Massive grip not sure about noise but can't be worse than P Zeros. When I had my S3 I found the same and bought wheels with F1s on made a huge difference.
Car is a bit laggy prob the daft GPF slowing turbo response, pretty fast though.
It's going to last forever, sick of wasting money. Do you get rehab for car addiction

A few attached.
Audi force you down certain options which I don't like. You used to be able to spec any combination but not any more. Bit of a joke really.
I would not Pay £4k for sport pack as I did not want the sports exhaust, black pack or pan roof but that makes it impossible to have the quilted seats
Similarly I had to buy the comfort pack to get comfort access which forces you to buy the upgraded sound system (and something else I cant remember what) which I did not want.
Mag ride is £1k, it used to be free on the saloon. Again I did not spec it, I would have it for free but not worth £1k.
only spec'd Silver wheels as I intend changing the colour or wheels, not decided yet.
As for no black pack for the above reason but I want the carbon look anyway.
Had to spec the Matrix lights though. Had them on 2 different cars and they are amazing.

Yeah, old tech, slow, terrible suspension, road noise was horrendous. I liked the S3 but needed something comfier for the in-laws. Bought the wife a car so no need for a comfy car. On saying that the RS is pretty solid. I think my kart is comfier
