Hi all,
Looking for some advice. I have owned my B7 RS4 Avant for the last four years and it has been a fantastic, reliable and quick piece of kit. Prior to that I had a C5 RS6 for 5 years which again was great albeit a lot more expensive to run than the B7!
I am potentially looking at buying an 8VA. I have to two brats so have always had an Avant for obvious reasons!
Is the boot space and rear legroom that much smaller than my B7. Has anyone else made this move and regretted it? Will hopefully use it as my daily and swap out my current daily which is an Abarth Esseesse, although I’ll really miss that Monza exhaust note!
In turn would look to get the wife an RS5 cab or something similar.
Would love to hear yours thoughts. Thanks all

The boot is smaller than a B7 but still decent size compared to a 5-dr hatchback, rear room isn't really different. B7s are smaller inside than people might remember.
RS3 note is better than Esseesse.

As MM says the boot is quite a bit smaller, I used to get the golf clubs in the b7 easily across the boot, no chance in the rs3 I have to drop the seats..
Deffo get the performance exhaust, I thought i'd miss the v8 tunes but this 8va sounds great.
