Although it might be quiet in here there are quite a few owners or ex owners on the forum.

It’s been a week now since the big 6 departed 😢 . The exhaust on this RS3 is so loud especially on cold start. I’m sure it’s not a standard sports exhaust yet Audi say it is. It’s actually horrible on cold start when I leave early for work.
Are they all this loud as standard ???

The sports exhaust is pretty noisy. Louder than my RS6 sports exhaust.

Thank you Mike it really is loud and as you say louder than my 6 I’m thinking of looking at a valve control option if it exists to quieten the bugger down on co,d starts early morning

Yes there are a number of options to control the valves including CETE, Milltek and ASR

Bit of an update with the car. It went back to Audi on Monday to have the front bumper resprayed as it should have been done prior to collection. Audi have also checked several issues I had.
One was the MMI screen wouldn’t come up no matter what I did turns out there is a TPI for that.
Exhaust seemed overly loud on cold start turns out there is a TPI for that complete new system being fitted tomorrow
Traction control warning light. They couldn’t get it to come up but that may be down to the wheels have been refurbished and both fronts were buckled but now repaired.
Seemed to struggle on cold start. Was told that’s normal for a 5 cyclinder ??? Watch this space on this one😂

Well collected the car today.
New exhaust👍 So much better
New battery 👍
Front bumper now all repainted 👍
MMI screen 👍
Traction control light hasn’t come on today and it’s been horrible weather wise. Possibly down to weak battery and buckled front wheels 👍
