Any decent deals to be had on the new RS3 Sportback?

Post by drgav2005 » Sun Nov 26, 2017 1:38 pm

I've checked the usual suspects, CarWow and OrangeWheels but the max discount those dealers are offering on a £53k specced sportback is just over £2k... about 3.8%.

Anyone managed much better? Hoping to get the car as far under £50k as possible in order for me to justify the man maths...

I ordered from Glasgow and got 6% off the OTR price
Was supposed to be 6% off the RRP so worked out about 6.2%
Usual stuff about not normally doing it but wanted to hit a target on the Saturday and I walked in near closing so I knew what I wanted.
Glasgow notoriously tight so I wasn't expecting much.
Ordered it in Nogaro Blue.

That sounds like an epic deal Jimmckay - was that recent? It will look superb in Nogaro blue :nogarors4:

A deal like that would make the man-maths work out!! I'll take a wander along on Saturday.

I think we got our last ones at the same time(they were getting detailed at Gordons at the same time)
I said I was going to get 7% off at a broker(which was true as Ive used him 3 times before) and could he match it.
He came back with 6% but then took it off the OTR price so it worked out over 3K(6.2%)
I was happy enough with that.
Good Luck

Cheers!
Managed a pretty decent deal - not quite as good, but 5.5% off. Certainly a lot better than the 'we don't discount the RS3' that I was told a couple of months ago. Mythos black SB on its way in March - perhaps we'll meet up at Gordon's at some point! ;)

Think I’ll end up putting an order in soon, before the M2 try’s to kill me, rs3 looks pants compared.. but I’ll soon change that with a drop and some wheels.. Quattro for the win me thinks!!!

Yep, I've ordered mine with the standard wheels (saves on VED) and will swap them out for my current 19" alloys (RS6 style) as soon as I get my hands on the car.

Couldn’t get our M140i off our road last night due to Ice, and that’s with Sotto Zero winters on!

Yes - I got them here: http://www.ldprestige.com/

Excellent quality alloys and a decent company to deal with... just turn on Google translate on the page (unless your French is good!)
