Why is there only stupidly expensive carbon intakes for these? I want sooky noises and maybe a slight increase in flow, but don't want carbon and certainly don't want to spend over £1000 (and that's only for the carbon scoop bit and metal pipe, carbon pipe is another £240 on top).

These intakes are tested thoroughly before release and actual gains are proven. These aren't just knocked up kits thrown out to the market quickly. V-box times and dyno graphs are available.

Your selling them, your not exactly going to say any different, the company who tunes my car.. and I'm not saying the name, told me not to bother.. and I was better putting it elsewhere to improve performance, looking at the design you must get heat soak when the cars not moving that fast??

I would not hesitate in getting Eventuri kits. I've seen how much time, money and effort goes into them to ensure that there are proven gains. They'll happily back up their claims with facts and there is plenty you of customer data available too - much better than hearsay from someone who may well be a competitor to Eventuri's associated companies

Thing is no one was offering me a different product, I was just adviced to put my money elsewhere, say for instance a dp for my M2.. I'd be happy to see what gains can be had, but so far no ones posted a dyno result before and after ? Or for the rs3

Not sure if the RS3 is the same as the S3 but a simple mod to the air intake frame behind the bumper will force more air into the standard filter box
