looks more like lift off oversteer rather than drifting ?

Yeah probably. Was surprised to see it sideways though. I hear the demo cars have been recalled due to oil starvation issues...

all new RS3's have been recalled with some fault with the oil/fuel pump. was having a chat to Nigel at stratford. few new RS3's have blown up due to this issue

Nice driving.
At 2:20 there's a beautiful shot where he's gone sideways, but with the front wheels pointing near straight ahead, which means that despite his attitude, the car is near neutral.
For a 4WD Audi that's quite an achievement, and it's what I always thought a good, powerful 4WD car ought to be able to do.
People are obsessed with powerslides, but seem to think it's oversteer they're after, rather than the sideslip itself.
