Anyone seen this before?

Interesting, only 83 RS2s currently on the road....quite a few in storage though

They are a rare beast, only ever seen 1 and it was at the pistonheads show last year, was the GMUND car.

I miss seeing RS2's around. Tis the nature of the beast though; I bet those SORN'd cars are either awaiting restoration or are in someone's collection. I will have one in my collection when funds permit.

salt from Nov to March, April she'll be hitting the road for another 6 months.

Good man. I hope to see an RS2 this year at a show, i have never seen one.

I just found out, it was a RS4 not an RS2 GMUND/SwissVax were showing, i could have sworn it was an RS2, probably because it was a Noggy blue car.

Likely story.

It would have been an RS2. The one I bought. The only RS4 they ever had was a red one.

I didn't manage to get a great look at it because it was so hemmed in with all the swiss vax products, swiss vax van and there was a 911 Cabriolet next to it.

So not only can you not tell an RS2 from an RS4 but you are unable to spot the difference between blue and red

no i thought the car on the stand was a noggy rs4.

I've still got mine (95 noggy blue owned for 10 yrs), it’s been undergoing some major restoration like full engine rebuild @100K (I melted a piston then found the head was cracked along with the manifold and turbo) so decided while it was in bits to do some jobs – but hubby got a little carried away – so much so its more or less had a full refurb and new bits, like new CAT back exhaust from Milltek and some nice stainless pipes in place of the CATS, wagner manifold, brake overhaul, clutch, full underneath strip down to bare floor plan and everything powder coated (drive shafts, front and rear sub frame, suspension arms and new Powerflex bushes,- all nuts and bolts zinc plated and 3M 2Pak underseal, full body respray (windows and sunroof out new front and rear screens), lower door strips, front wings, ... will post photos at some point. Haven’t dared to add the cost up. Should be back on the road for summer.
