Would make an awesome older brother for my plus, but no. I'm about to order a brand new Corsa this week as a commute car for more £££ then this (don't ask). Needs must.

Not even a 1.2! Been offered a good deal on a 1.0, will do what it says on the tin. I need a second car anyway. May be leaving the country for a bit through work but my parents will still make use of it. I think even my dad will find 0-60 in 18.4 seconds slow and he is the slowest driver I've ever known.

Doesn't mention service history, the bumper is hanging off and it's a dodgy colour. Who knows what mechanical work it needs; Better to spend 15k and get one that's been looked after properly You can very quickly spend 7k+ "restoring" one of these.
EDIT:
Just noticed this in the ad:
"The annexed photo is indicative only - and will be replaced by genuine vehicle photos within the next few days."
It's not even a photo of the car that is for sale!

Amar, I fear that you will soon want to wrap that POS around a tree. I had a Meriva as a rental recently and I actually thought it was broken, that's how slow it was. It was dangerously slow on any roads but 30 limited. And that did 0-60 in 14s. More than 18 seconds is worse than ridiculous, it's almost undriveable.

Interesting.....re your next cars.
I have a Red Lupo GTi you maybe interested in that I may still have in 12 months time.
It's totally standard, 28k miles and only 2 owners from new. It has the cracking 6 speed box and goes like a little rocket. It's being stored at the moment as I have 2 other cars on the road. I'm pretty sure it's one of the lowest mileage Lupo GTis left in the UK.
It won't come cheap but food for thought.

Yes i noticed the thread on it. Your Lupo looks impeccable however i will be looking at cars with around 75k miles for 4.5k. Ideally i would like a red one but they are rare.

Wow, you've still got it? I thought you sold it a while back! Fetching decent prices if they're low mileage!

I've never actually advertised it, took it off the road last August when I picked up an old MkIII Golf GTi as a cheap run around that I don't care too much about. The Lupo is just too nice (and impractical) for commuting and ferrying kids around in.
I reckon spring time might be the time to let it go but who knows.
If you know of anyone interested then I'd be more than happy to discuss it with them.
