If that was in RS Blue, it would have sold by now.
In fact, I think a blue one sold for approx £35k about 18 months ago?

It has been for sale for a while, at least 6 months, if i could have any RS2 it would have been the pearl white car Nick Johnson had in stock last year, that was gorgeous.

Date stamp on photos is 2005!!
Jacque Villeneuve wasn't in F1 in 1995 - his first year was 1996 in the Williams.
Its also nowhere near the lowest mileage RHD RS2: Audis own Nogaro Blue RS2 that comes out for magazine photo shoots, motorshows, ADI etc (P809 UBW). When Top Gear used it for a feature a few years back it had done like 267 miles!

Did not say it was the lowest mile RS2 although it is up there. Audi's will be the lowest but that car has never been and never will go into private ownership.

Anyone got any more info on the Audi UK RS2?

It is an early model RS2 - you can tell by the steering wheel which is not the usual three spoke RS steering wheel. It will therefore have the inferior gearbox rather than the later gearbox.
Miles are not all that low - mine has done 66K and is in far better condition from the llok of those photos.
If you look on the website for Sussex Sports Cars you will see more photos which indicate that it is badged as an 80 TDI.
Tyres look wrong to me too.

Scilly - you mention in your last post about the 'inferior gearbox'. That's interesting, do you know when this 'inferior' gearbox ceased to be used in the RHD RS2? Also, is there a way of checking which gearbox mine had fitted when new? Presumably against the VIN number somehow?
Thanks
Tom

I think you would have to check by chassis numberVIN on Erwin. AIRC Early RS2s built in 1994 came with CGR gearbox which is known for having a weak synchro/notchy change into 2nd gear. These early cars also had the steering wheel as shown in the pictures of the red one.
Later cars produce in 1995 had the CRB gearbox with a wider range on 1st gear and improved syncrho on 2nd. These cars also got the three spoke RS wheel.

Sorry for any confusion fella, my reply wasn't aimed at yourself at all, but at the text in the advert itself.
