Rear Caliper Refurb

As my car had 'Big Reds' fitted by the previous owner, I thought I would have a go at refurbing my tired rear calipers to improve their appearance.

The process was:
Bead blasted calipers, repainted, new decals fitted then lacquered.
Dust caps, pistons and seals removed/checked, cleaned and refitted.
New bleed nipples and caps fitted.
New link pipes made and fitted due to one having being damaged/crushed at some point in it's life (not available as a spare)
Pad retaining clips cleaned and polished then refitted with new stainless bolts.

The final finish isn't perfect but I'm pleased with the results all the same (No before pics unfortunately, but I think they had been badly refurbed previously (No decals, paint/powder coat lifting and flaking off, calipers oxidised underneath)
Just need to refit and bleed them ready for summer.
I might actually get to use it this year!!!

Holts Dupli-Color acrylic colour and lacquer rattle cans.

Some people say that you have to use high temp paints and others say you don't

I didn't, so I'll see how they last, but I'm sure they'll be fine.
