Having trouble bleeding the brakes on the RS2. Can anyone point me to a website or previous thread or provide advice dealing with the brake bleeding procedure on a left hand drive RS2?
For example:
- is there a specific order?
- does the handbrake have to be on/off (why?)
- does it make any difference if ignition is on/off (why?)
- any other tips?
Have had the car 10 years and haven't had problems so far but current engineer (who is a Porsche genius and kindly agreed to look at the RS2) is having problems.
Any assistance gratefully received.

Bleeding (the) Brakes
No Problems....
Ignition on..
Handbrake off.
Start with the closest corner first (nsf)
Then the next closest (osf)
So on and so on...
Easy...
The MAIN thing to remember is to be very slow to pump the brake pedal, don,t immediately start to press the pedal as soon as its back up. This is because the brake fluid in the res has to re-enter (FILL) the master cylinders again..
Good luck
