RS2 Rear Disk Issue - Would ths work

Hi,
Been researching the problem of fittng porsche rear discs on the rear of the RS2.
From what I have found, there are a number of discs which match in terms of diameter and thickness (299 x 24) but the issue seems to be the hat size. RS2 needs 71mm height of disc (rear disc surface to top of hat) and most of te porsche discs are 65mm or less. Getting this wrong would mean the centre line of the friction disc will not align with the centre lne of the caliper, not good...
Has anyone considered using wheel spacers on the INSIDE of the hub, (between hub face and inside of the disc), to give the correct overall hat sise ??
Things to consider would include the handbrake mechanism, it looks like the internal diameter is standard at about 98mm, by using the spacer like this I would need to check if the handbrake wearing surface is mintained.
If this works it would allow us to use a large variety of 911, boxter, 928 discs at much redued cost and guaranteed availability.
I am about to replace my rear discs & pads and prepred to give it a go butneed to do a bit more research.
Can anybody give me a technical drawing with dimensions of the standard RS2 rear disc..
Also, does anybody know the hole spacing for the standard rear calipers, am trying to find a match for a porsche monoblock for the rear, have the part numbers (callipers, discs & pads that work on the front if anybody needs them).
Ifthis has all been done before the couldsomeone put me out of my misery and give me a link !!!
Thanks
PAUL
