The red (!) warning light

My red (!) warning light comes on intermittently. Sometimes goes for ages before popping up to say hello.
Obviously not one to ignore! So I've repeatedly checked all hydraulic and brake fluid levels and they are fine. No brake or power steering/hydraulic problems. Any ideas of what it could be?

Ive also had it a couple of times on two of my RS2s when ive gone round a series of really sharp short bends and then braked really hard...i think it might have been something to do with the fluids sloshing about and being very hot too...or possibly`the bomb`going?

Thanks. Mine is only on start up, rather than when driving. Weird!

The brake fluid level sensor in the brake fluid reservoir is sometimes too senstive and/or gets stuck. I find that my brake fluid reservoir needs to be full in order not to get this red warning light when braking heavy or sometimes on startup etc.

Got to the bottom of it - simply the accumulator losing pressure after being idle for some time. No big shakes.
