Dyno Results

Post by RS2Nut » Tue May 25, 2010 4:52 pm

Hi,

Just had my RS2 on the dyno and it gave the following results :D

Max bHP 334.4 at 6,500 rpm
Peak Torque 320 ftlb at 4,000 rpm

The car has done 190,000 miles and has not been modified (as far as I know). The chap who did the run commented that most RS2's produce more than their quoted 315 bhp and from his experience my results are an exampe of "a good one" I was preparing myself to be dissapointed but came away very pleased. It was a hot day too,, which I thought might impact the results.

Just interesting to note that even with high miles these cars can still perform.

Interesting little fact from a well known tuner. The initial RS2 run 'disappointed' some owners so the standard map was tweaked to improve BHP/torque. IIRC mine on a hot day was 315/338
RS2 'an estate car named Desire'

Well done, that seems quite a gain are you sure it's standard ? Or it could be one of the "tweaked from new ones".
