Hi all

I'm having a problem with the butttons on the air con . The tempertaure buttons seem to work sometimes and other times they wont change the indicated temperature and stick on the temperature displayed.

This has happened on both RS2's that I've owned and an S2 estate so obviously quite common.

The question is can the unit be 'cleaned up and the contacts for the switches be improved or does the unit need to be changed. I have thought about a second hand unit but I guess it's likely to do the same eventually!

Took the panel out and gave it a bit of a clean inside. Seems to be ok now as all buttons have worked perfectly for the last couple of days. Maybe just a bad contact.

Climate control was not an option of UK spec RS2 so we are unlikely to get this particular gremlin.
