As it says really, for sale, one immaculate and unused genuine factory
OEM RS2 tyre. Dunlop SP8000 245/40ZR17. Extremely rare.

This tyre was fitted to the spare wheel in my RS2 and was never used in the twelve years prior to my ownership. No sun and no UV. The last four years were spent in the dark stored horizontal in my attic.

Perfect for an collector or owner with a low mileage RS2 on OEM spec rubber!

- not to be used in combination with today's choice of new 225/45 tyres.

Tyres have a shelf life of 6 years so even though your tyre has lived in the boot for a number of years and then in your attic -I would not be too keen on installing a tyre that is 15 years old on my RS2.
Having had an RS2 since new I can say that the Dunlop SP8000 was not a particularly special tyre and todays 225/45ZR17 tyres outperform it and are safe to use at the speeds that the RS2 can achieve.
