Buying an RS2

I have just started to look for an RS2 with the only ones seemingly available being on Piston Heads. Does anyone know anywhere else there could possibly be a car for sale?

Also price wise, I have seen a couple of posts form earlier this year mention cars at around the 10k mark. Is it realistic to think I can pick one up for around this figure?

Many thanks

Rob

Not seen any except duplicates on classic car sales. 10k a bit on the low side for a good one RHD that is unless at 150k. Mine is still for sale. Fully sorted and ready to go with FSH. PM me if you want any details. Just had a full zymol detail today.

Any idea why this car has been "beautifully repainted"??!!

Personal choice I know but I really don't think the car suits red....blau or silver the best colour option I reckon.

Also it's advertised as a 2000cc when we all know this is not the case, all sounds a bit fishy to me

I would go with all other advice on here Rob and go for one of the two sorted silver beast that we know to be up for sale but up to you....

This one has been around on sale for the best part of a year. Cannot recall exact problems but my advice is to stay clear.

Yeah, nice motor I'm sure but who in their right mind is gonna pay £30k for it??!!

I did notice that one with 125k on the clock at £8,500k, sounds like a damn good buy (unless it's ridled with 'issues' of course).

Funny how the crap weather puts most people off driving, the RS2 just laps it up. I love this car :rocker:

I was going to view this car early in the year when it was only 24k, low mileage 32k so hence high price. But why has it gone up to 30k! its been there for some time now, esp according to S3 Forums. Also Red is a rare colour too, I would def buy it, but not at that price.

Car has been up for sale for at least the last two years. Looks like its getting normal usage if the mileage has gone up by so much. Owner may have spent lots of money on car and can justify a price rise perhaps!
