Rear Wiper Motor

Post by darkhorse1210 » Thu Aug 13, 2009 10:58 am

Apologies for a series of 'me specific' posts but have a bit of time at the moment to sort the Polar Beast out.

Anyone know where to source a Rear Wiper Motor? From Audi these are almost £200 which seems a little excessive for something to clear the rain away!! Not an urgent issue as mine works...but doesn't do back to the start position which can be annoying if it decides to stop in the middle of the rear screen!

Part number is 8A9 955 713

I've tracked one down in Germany but not convinced about the safety of international shipping.

Any help welcomed.

Thanks Al, much appreciated. The wiper still works but it doesn't half get on your nerves when it sits vertically on the rear screen! And let's be honest in this country the rear wiper gets plenty of use, what a pile of crap this summer's been.

Trev, I may well try that at some point but being a total car technophobe it could take me a while to get my head round that

Any joy with the sale Al? Did you see the Blue RS2 last week on EBay...hope that was the one you picked up, it looked stunning

New rear wiper motor sourced and fitted today so well pleased, especially in light of the fact that it was p*ssing it down on the motorway.
