Brake Caliper Carrier + Blower Motor Resistor Info.

In the unlikely event of anyone experience a rubbing noise (that isn't a wheel bearing problem) you may want to consider the brake caliper carrier.
Turns out mine had been welded back together at some point and the result was an out of shape caliper carrier. This spherical piece of metal was then rubbing slightly on the inside of the brake disc causing a really annoying grinding noise. Solution - new caliper carrier, new wheel bearing kit and new rear discs and pads fitted at the same time. Runs as smooth as silk now.
The blower motor resistor was £56 +VAT but in conjunction with a fully regassed air con system that's money well spent.
Just the heating to fix now, I fear this could be a stinger so going to wait till late autumn before I tackle that one, havin read the threads on the S2 forum on this I'm praying this isn't the full dash out solution!
If anyone needs the part numbers then please drop me a note.
