Hello all!

Glad to report I'm a new RS2 owner over in Hong Kong.

I'm planning to do a rubber off repaint into RS Blue and my local shop has been sourcing all over the world for RS2 windows rubber seals/trims. However even 3 weeks they still cannot confirm if they can find all the parts needed for a repaint.

Furthermore they told me the rubber seals/trims part numbers on the RS2 is different from the 80 Avant. Is that true? More importantly, can I just use the window rubber seals/trims on the 80 Avant on my RS2?

Welcome to the forum Kevin...the lower door trim set up is completely different to the rest of the 80 range if thats what you mean??? but window and window rubbers are the same (ive had RS2s, S2s and 80 avants) hth

Yes I just need to windows seals and trims for the repaint. I will ask my local shop to look into 80 avant parts then! Thanks!
