Windows out restoration

Post by jerseypaul » Tue Jun 16, 2009 8:21 am

Hello gang
My car is going in for a full body work and wheel refurb in a couple of weeks.
The car recentley did 70,000 miles so hopefully it will be one of the tidiest low mileage examples in the UK.
The interior has worn really well and only requires some new mats and a decent leather treatment and valet.
Will get some pictures up hopefully of the before, during and after process.
It has a large file of work carried out to date so some decent pictures will help document an important part of the vehicles history.
Looking forward to having a box fresh RS2 on the drive soon.

Thanks fellas.
The work was carried out by Le Riche Automobile Restorers : www.leriche.com
Highly recommend their work, you can tell from the cars they drive to work they are passionate about cars.
Very happy with the result they went the extra mile to get a quality fit and finish - they even painted the wheel bolts.
Suprisingly the only thing Audi couldn't supply was the thin moulding running through the centre of the door.
These had to be removed and refurbed but the lower door mouldings are still available.

While I won't reveal the exact amount.
Alwynn - there isn't much change I will admit.
