Red stuff brake pads

Post by simesf » Fri Mar 20, 2009 9:05 am

Hi all

Anyone had experience with red stuff brake pads?
I've had them on my RS2 (with 993 turbo front calipers). The backs are already worn out and the fronts not far off. They were all replaced only 9000kms ago!! :?
I don't do track days, but do live in the mountains and there is snow and salt on the roads for 3 or 4 months a year.
I'm very dissapointed with the life span of these pads, after the OE parts.

Should I return with the OE parts or does anyone have any solutions for alternatives.

Thanks

Simesf
