New RS2 Owner - Independent RS2 Specialist in / near London?

hello

i've had my RS2 a couple of weeks now (1995, silver w/black leather & carbon, 85k miles, RHD, fabulous condition) and am just sorting those last few niggles.

so...

can anybody recommend an RS2 specialist in or near central London? have the following things that need looking at and i'm assuming they're a bit complex for me to tackle myself:

brakes binding - assume it's the usual alloy / steel corrosion

passenger electric window not working, checked / changed switch, motor & relay so must be wiring somewhere

play in the steering wheel where it meets the column, feels like a bush near the wheel itself as the steering feels fine

the on-boost performance also feels like it "pulses" slightly as the revs rise, although still pulling very strongly. i haven't had a turbo before and my other car is a Benz 500E (built on the same production line before the RS2 as the real anoraks will know...) so maybe this is normal for these cars and i've just been spoilt by the linear power delivery of my V8?

anyway, i'd be much happier taking it to somebody who knows these cars inside out and just to know it's perfect as i'm planning on keeping it for a while.

thanks
andy

Try the Autopool in Iver. No experience myself but they've been recommended by a moderator on the s2forum

I swapped out my MAF ( air mass meter ) and o2 (Oxygen ) sensor recently and now the car runs sweeter than ever.
One of the syptoms was a slight pulsing at constant neutral throttle.
These are recommended to be swapped anyway over around 60K miles.
I have an intermittant window fault at the moment - probably relay / dry joint.
All windows and sunroof sometimes dont work at all then start working after a few mins.

Are these easy to find and replace?

MAF - very easy to swap if you have basic skills. LHS of engine bay next to air filter housing - 2 allen bolts from memory, got the unit from www.vagparts.com
The O2 sensor is more invloved as it sits in the exhaust flow - you can see it mounted in the turbo / exhaust manifold to the LHS of the engine with two wires coming from the top.
I got our local VAG specialist to do the O2 sensor along with another couple of jobs.
