Thanks to Lloyd for tipping me off about custom made mats.

Pioneering work by the S2forum has armed Autostyle with the patterns and they will make a set of four mats with a motif on each and a driver's heel pad, UK delivered, for £72.

To quote Autostyle:

"We can produce a set of top quality carpet mats for you.

Prices are as follows:
A set of four mats will cost £60 including an embroidered motif.
A carpet heelpad is £5 extra
A metal heel plate is £10 extra
Delivery in the UK is £7.

The lads on the other side all seemed very pleased with them.

are the carpets of the s2 they have the same as the rs2 avant?i only found sets for s2 coupe which are different from ours

The bloke at Autostyle asked the same thing! After umming and ahhing for a while we decided he'd check. If I was a betting man I'd say they were the same. It seems logical and the bulk purchase the S2forum did were for a mixed bunch of S2s and RS2s.

When I speak to him next I'll ask him.

Autostyle sent the order for me to check and have the car down as an S2 Coupe.

If you order, make sure they have the correct car.

right,the avant they mean then,cause if you check the web page of tots,you will see how different they are.

Anyway,i emailed him for a set of 2 if possible cause my rear ones are practically new.

They mean the mats for the S2 Avant and the mats for the RS2 Avant are made from the same patterns.

It's the Couple that's different.

I ordered all four mats because I'd like them to match.

You watch, I'll be fitting window boxes next.

As mentioned, the mats for the RS2 are the same shape as the S2 Avant and Autostyle will put a different logo on for you.

Next time, I won't have the heel pad. It's going to wear out at much the same rate as the carpet underneath it and will look grim just as quickly. At £72 for four I could just replace them.

There were no motifs on the rear two mats as I had been expecting which makes the two rectangles of carpet in the back rather expensive!

Other than that, excellent.

when i inquired about having mine done,they said that they could not put the porsche logo there,only the top inscription RS2....

That's odd, then, Vas.

I asked for the RS2 badge, they asked where I would like it and that was it.

The word "Porsche" wasn't mentioned.

Maybe they thought you wanted an Audi badge and a Porsche badge.
