RS2 Blue Alcantara

Post by Lloyd » Wed Sep 17, 2008 10:36 am

I'm looking for leads to help track down some original blue alcantara.

I don't need loads but hopefully enough to re-trim the piping on the drivers floor mat
and maybe eventually the drivers seat base.

Does anyone have any leads or suggestions on where to find some?

Any idea who was the manufacturer ?

The guy who did the centre panels and door cards on mine came up with a close match on my grey, so if you don't find the real McCoy let me know and I'll put you in touch with him, I'm sure he could get fairly close.

Has anyone considered a run of new mats now they're unobtainable from Audi?

Sorry, Lloyd, I'm being a tart, it's not a secret.

His name is Phil Silk, he's in Newbury, he's been upholstering cars for farzands of years and he's on 01635 30094 - it looks like it's a number short but it isn't.
