what manifold sold from US?
usually there are some crappy immitations of the OEM and some other ones that are cast but of bad design(STP).i would suggest the evoRS2 manifold from carsten wagner if yours needs changing.About a tad cheaper than OEM,and same cast iron, larger diameter tubes.Good for 500+hp

you want to stay away from these manifolds. They tend to last a few thousant Kms and then develop cracks...

Carstens site is: http://www.wagner-tuning.de/

You are better off getting a cast iron manifold from him,has the same fit as original(so no need to change downpipe either) and is much better than OEM.Hopefully it will last as long as oem too.My next EM is going to be from him when i get the funds to replace the GT3071R with the GT3076R.
He also carries tubular manifold which is like the one you saw on ebay, but he says its for racing purposes,ie it doesnt last long either
