Advice: Clifford or Cobra installer: Andover or Poole area

Post by simon44 » Wed Apr 09, 2008 10:22 am

Hi All,

I have recently bought an RS2 with a simple Cobra immobiliser fitted. As my car doesnt have the 'bump' on the door pillar (ie no Audi remote option) I am considering changing the immobiliser set up to include a remote key fob to lock/open the car.

Can anyone recommend an installer of either Clifford or Cobra in the Andover or Poole area who also has experience of fitting systems into the RS2?

Thank you for your help.

I presume you bought a LHD RS2 as RHD ones do not have a "bump" on the door pillar.
RHD came as standard with an immobiliser/alarm which engages if you lock the car with the key. A red light also comes on in the centre console alram button when it is engaged.
Audi RS2 - the original

No mine's a RHD (as I say without the bump) and I am looking for remote entry rather than key entry - can anyone recommend an installer? Many thanks
