Don't worry Tom,
when you go and get some touch up from your local paint supplier and give him your paint code it will come back with Nagaro on the tin.
I have never seen "RS blue" in any paint suppliers books! (I paint cars for a living, and have a Nagaro RS2!)
Welcome to the "I think I know more than you" forum fun!

Apologies - they do seem to be the same paint, but check this out - here's a photo of the touch up kit I bought from Audi last year.

Reads both Blue Pearl & Nogaro :?

That says Nagaro on the bottle!!!
Make me laugh them "part description" stickers, I ring the stealers or TPS as its now called, with the correct part numbers, and you get "is it a cover" yes I suppose it covers the chuffin wheel! (front wing description)!

My hunch is that the colour was a 'new' one to the market at the time of the RS2 launch.

The sales brochure photo below lists it as RS Pearl Blue. Colour specifically created for the car, hence the name. Was also the colour for the press car and all sales/PR material.

I reckon the colour name was later changed to Nogaro for use on other non RS2 Audi's... Sounds plausible?
