The air-con on my RS2 is a bit limp. The air-con was recharged last year by the previous owner, and it was fine when I purchased the car.

Can anyone tell me what possible problems I might have?

leaky gases ?, i fitted new condenser/ dryer@ 200 pounds, plus regas, last july , still ice cold, this was after 6monthly recharge, most ac places can check for leaks,, but i found the nitrogen pressure test the best form of diagnostic,, poss cost 50 quid , but worth it, most ac systems are 10 years plus with only regasesas a service

best of luck

Get it leak tested but I will tell you for free the pipe from the engine bay to the dryer (driver side front wheelarch) leaks slowly if original at the solid to flexible pipe join. Took me ages to be sure as the leak was so slow.
