I was just wondering if anyone on here has managed to get hold of some aero wipers for a LHD RS2.

I have contacted VAGPARTS but they have told me that they don't sell them.

i have fitted the arms from an audi A6 along with the aero wipers from them but i must say that bosch now makes aero wipers with adaptors to fit the RS2 arms,so no need to go into all this trouble.The A6 aero wipers that i have,need som cutting on the passenger wiper to fit nicely...wouldnt recommend all the trouble anyway.one good thing is that they look better!

I bought my Bosch aero wipers from GSF.
Mines LHD rs2. Connectors work for both LHD and RHD.

I have had a look at a few websites including GSF and because they don't come up with RS2 do you go for the ones off an A6 or do I go for ones off another Audi.

Also any idea on the price?

Steve, do you know what aero wipers are? no you don't. they are not just wipers with a spoiler on!!!!!

Aero wipers are the new thing in wipers, have a look at any new Audi, very flat blades and very close to screen arm,gets the wipers and arm out of the way when parked, not in the air flow.

GSF dose not sell them for RS2s they only do blades for replacments on cars that came with aero wipers from new.

Poor guy must be pretty confused by now.

I got the rear aero wiper from VAG Parts 2 years ago or so. This was the rear wiper from a Polo GTI, this was a big improvement on the standard, although the wiper blade is about an inch shorter which was a bit of a niggle.
The blade had now become a bit worn so I replaced the rear aero wiper blade with one from a Touran. This still fits on the same Polo GTI wiper arm, but is the same length as the original RS2 rear wiper blade.

So to recap the parts you need are:

Polo/Mk V Rear Wiper Arm - 6Q6 955 707 = £12.18 +VAT

Polo/Mk V Rear Wiper Cap - 7M3 955 435 01 C = £0.97 +VAT

Touran Rear Aero Wiper Blade - 7E0 955 425 = £4.08 +VAT
