I've been looking at a grey, late 1995 RS2 with 55.000kms (confirmed) on it.
It is in Mint condition,
black seats with dark blue dash, dark wood trim,
all electric windows,
org, dark green tinted windows,
black roof rails,
all original keys,
was previously owned by the daughter of a Audi dealer in Germany,
has spent the last years in a museum,
had oil change every 5000km at audi
completely stock,
never driven in snow or in winter time
complete service history booklet from audi,


it is described as new.
I have seen it, and it looks great.

price is $57.000 what do you think?
(bare in mind that cars in norway are silly expensive no matter what car)

$57000 seems a bit steeeeeeeeep even for a low miler.

If you are talking US Dollars it is expensive. (GB£30,000 or Euro45,000)

But if you talking Norwegian Krona it is very cheap! Although I doubt you are as that is only GB£4,500 or Euro6,700.

A really mint condition low milage right hand drive RS2 in the UK would probably get a maximum of GB£20,000 if they were lucky and a mint left hand drive in the UK might get around GB£16,000.

Bare in mind that even if it is mint, some of the components will be starting to age and may be starting to deteriorate and may need replacing, inparticular the rubber water and air hoses in the engine bay and maybe some of the many sensors.

Is it running well and have you driven another RS2 to be able to compare it? It might be worth having a diagnostic done (Vagcom) and see if any codes come up, also have the water and air hoses pressure tested and have a drive with a boost gauge attached to see if it is boosting how and where it should be.

If you are paying that much for it you should make sure its good mechanically.

My feeling is that a regularly driven car is probably a safer bet than one that has been sitting around in a garage unused.
