So what's an RS2 like then? :)

Bought my RS6 because I only have room for one car, I do a lot of trips to wales / scotland / the alps with bikes and snowboards, and I'm a petrolhead.

However, although its the best car I have ever owned, it seems a bit OTT for those uses.

I could afford to buy an RS2 outright, saving me a fortune each month, but I know very little about them except a)I've always loved the looks and the rarity and b) they go like the clappers once they (eventually) come on boost.

So come on, give me a quick education. I'm interested in the usual things: reliability, handling, performance, quirks, running costs.

cheers in advance

I'm on my second! I love em, Fast, fantastic brakes, (try RS4 brakes,<beep>) great fun (through it round a track) just smiles all the way, cheap to run, no crap air suspension to go wrong,.
If you go for a RHD you will be back in the dark ages turning knobs for the heating/ventilation. one of those things that make them old,LHD got full climate.
Any generic Audi 80 parts are super cheap,ie all body bits, not bumpers.
The best ever seats.
Not much goes wrong, eats wishbone bushes, replace with poly bush to stop this. My shockers need changing at 75000.

Hope this helps,
where are you? You can have a ride in mine if it helps..

Great car on motorway, dual carriageways.
Hard work on switch-back B roads, shows it's weight.
My mate also has an rs2, and he described the car as having soul.
My mates right!!!!!!!!!
