M822 ............ RS2

Did one of you guys with a silver/blue Rs2 see me in my just picked up CSL coming up to Aylesbury on the A41 today about 1.30pm.
I had just dropped the wife off at Bicester Discount Village in the RS6 (up for sale soon) and had what I thought was a RS2 come up behind me.
I made a real mess of trying to burn the RS2 up as I did not know what buttons or which flappy paddles to press. Also lost with the various other gizmos. Hope to get better soon!!

Haven't you heard, nothing burns an rs2 up. Flaps or no flaps!

sorry I didn't really make myself clear. Burnt up the RS2 ok but it took me a second to find what to press. I was idling around and also revs were far too low so RS2 was keeping up for a bit then I went away from him.
I think he was up for it as he kept trying to read the dealer name on my rear plate everytime we were caught in traffic!!

I think the RS2 guy was not in a hurry...............
not me anyway..........long way up from Italy (although mine is polar silver)

must admit it didnt look like he was in a hurray from where I was sitting..........
but seriously what would a stock RS2 pull like. The CSL is very much like the RS6 in a striaght line. Not knowing much about the RS2 I would have been surprised of it got close unless it had some mods and probably some serious ones anything above 80-100 mph!
whats the serious answer as I am not a knocker of audis as i have had a couple myself

very interesting.
production was pre E39 M5 but performance is not too far behind it. I suppose with a simple mod or two he would have been up with me no probs.
only 182 in the uk, now probably only 150 left assuming a few have bitten the dust or been nicked and shipped abroad. thats quite an exclusive club you are all in.
