RS2 Exhaust system

Post by B300ABT » Mon Aug 07, 2006 9:33 am

This is a duplicate of my request in the Classified Forum

I'm looking for a secondhand system ( manifold back ) in good condition, either original or aftermarket replacement: does anyone have one cluttering up their garage?
I'm based near Oxford.
Cheers

One thing that occurs to me is that as my car is LHD, does that make any difference to the exhaust system?

shouldnt change how the system fits. It may be worth getting a quote from longlife/miltek for a new replacement

Thanks Greg....Longlife quote makes secondhand system a bit pointless!

Do you mean the longlife system is reasonably priced in comparison to an OEM item?
If so tell us how much it could be very useful for a newbie searching. 8)

When i needed to replace my exhaust, as it was literally falling off  I went the OEM route but got halted suddenly by the cost which was over £900. This is for an S2 Avant by the way but i think the RS2 version is very similar in cost. I then decided to go the Longlife route due to various recommendations and i am glad i did. Quality workmanship and a quality product. I paid just over £600 for a 3" system from downpipe including a sports cat.
