Hey guys,

Where would be the best place for me to look for and find Used RS2 parts? Are there some well known wreckers in the EU that deal with them? I'm particularily looking for a good intercooler/crossmember and, more importantly at this time, all of the shift linkage from the 6spd gearbox.

I've heard lot of people talikng about this place:

I've never traded with them, I just saw they have lots of spare parts...
But, as I wrote, I cannot say anything about quality for parts and for the store...

After looking at all the prices on the web, I finally decided to buy a wrecked RS2 (the chassis unfortunately wasn't good enought), with a ggod engine, just for its spare parts...

you can try all audi too and if you post a wanted on s2forum.com most things can normally be sourced somewhere.

It's almost impossible to buy anything from totsteile I found, they don't provide a contact email and the form on their website doesn't work.
They also won't send most parts by mail, I'm after a set of carpet mats and an undertray but the site includes those amongst many parts they won't entertain sending!
Shame I'm sure they could do some good business otherwise. Maybe they just don't need to,

although i have bought from Totsteile lots of parts,small because he cannot send large items(he drives to germany to send parts in order for us to avoid taxes as switzerland is not in the EU),i have found and comprehended most parts from the German ebay.You only need to be patient.Eventually most parts turn up.

I got a used bomb from him, but the undertray (that i am after to) he didnt send, because Its big and could be damadge.

Seriously though I can understand why he doesn't send stuff like the underbody tray. What though does a bomb do?

it is the pressure regulator for the immediate braking.It produces negative pressure and also brings in the power steering system as well.It is quite expensive new,and it must be taken good care of because without it,you loose good braking pressure and feel.

Thanks for the explanation, the only bomb I've ever heard of, you wouldn't want in the post!

When you say 'take care of it' do you mean there are special precautions that need to be taken to ensure it continues working?

no actually i meant that it should be looked after if you notice funny pedal braking or not adequate braking power.it should not be left to its misery
