most RS2 users use Castrol RS 10W-60.I have seen that it consumes the less amount of oil from other kinds, and my engine hasnt done any major rebuilts at the moment

I use Millers 10w-60, but I have noticed a gentle move on the S2 Forum towards Silkolene Pro S 10W-50 (it might be because they get a forum discount on this stuff)

I second that !
I drove 0w-40 Mobil 1 for a while and it was too thin. The engine was much louder and the oil consumption was twice as high on a 130,000km milage engine.
Never enough...

Motul V300 5-40w based on oil temperatures not noise. My oil consumption on Mobil 15-50 much higher.

So make sure whatever advice you follow buy a true fully synthetic (Motul and Silkolene are good examples) and much more important change it 5k/6 months
