I haven't looked at Autotrader for a while until yesterday. Is it me or are the prices creeping up? Currently there's a 47k mile private one for £19.5k and one with 81k miles for just under £20k trade? Any thoughts?

Things seem to be stable, not sure bout an upward move tho. Bought mine privately last August for £15k with 69k miles on it. Fontain who are selling the Noggie blue Rs2 for £20k are taking the p**s, but I'm sure it'll sell!

A 47k Rs2 will demand top money, but these cars can take the miles if they are well looked after....these cars are ten years old so will have some wear and tear no matter how well preserved.

I think that is actually a decent price for the 47k miler......

Would have bought that myself

If whoever was to buy that only did low mileage, ~5-6 k per year, then 5 years down the line, it could still be worth that sort of money. Be a 16/17 year old car with only 70'ish thou miles...... Pure classic status then......

Looking to sell my RS2 in the summer due to being bitten buy a tvr 350t bug(totally at the other end of the spectrum I know).Just wondering what to put it up for as pricing seems to vary.Any ideas would be good as I´m not looking to rip someone off but don´t want to get ripped of myself just a fair price.
Aug 1995 black,LHD,full leather, carbon trim, electric seats(heated),sunroof,Full history,800 pound pioneer satnav,tv,dvd system,80K miles, standard car,Very good condition inside and out. Any ideas on a private sell and maybe what i could expect from a dealer would be a great help.
Cheers guys.

JUst spotted those two in Autotrader as well. Thought the one at Fontain was a bit steep :o The 47k miler - well yes, in my hands it would probaly do 4k a year tops....... no I mustn't even think about it - but they make such a lovely sound
